Both DW Persian and Iran International highlighted CENTCOM's dismissal of the Islamic Republic's purported concerns for civilian security in the United Arab Emirates. CENTCOM called the Iranian claims misleading, stating that the Islamic Republic has "indiscriminately targeted Gulf countries in more than 300 instances over the past two weeks and paid no attention to the security of civilian lives."
