Лачен пише and ProKyiv report that the Kyiv District Administrative Court has approved construction on Citadelna Street (Knyaziv Ostrokykh). According to Лачен пише, residents have been invited to sign an online petition to stop the project, fearing the destruction of the urban fabric.
On the other hand, the Київ | Times channel notes that judicial decisions in planning disputes have paved the way for the project. However, the channel emphasizes that "the city administration is declaring an appeal of the decisions and emphasizing the risks to the historic environment."
At the same time, UA Stream sharpens the position of the opponents, noting that "some Kyivites have come out against the project because the skyscraper could change the look of the historic environment around one of Kyiv's central sites."
