Security tension in the Berezniaky district in Kyiv
The weekend in the Berezniaky district of Kyiv was marked by a series of violent incidents. According to reports from the Telegram channel Левый Берег Киев, the events began with an attempt by security forces to detain a citizen, an action met with fierce resistance from locals who blocked the police vehicles' routes. Eyewitnesses reported that about 5 to 7 police cars were called to the scene, and according to a local resident, the officers used excessive force against the citizens, including claims of stepping on the detainee's throat.
At the same time, Левый Берег Киев as well as the channel Київ | Times reported on sounds of gunfire heard in the area around 01:04. Residents reported three explosions and shouting heard on the street, although as of now, the direct link between the shooting incidents and the attempted arrest has not yet been officially verified.

- Explosion in a cafe: Report of an explosion and smoke rising from one of the cafes in the Pozniaky area near a kindergarten.
- Sanitary hazard: Residents of 158 Kharkivske Highway are complaining about unusual garbage accumulation for five days, due to a private vehicle blocking access to the dumpsters. According to the residents, the authorities are demanding they remove the vehicle at their own private expense.
