Over the past day, numerous reports have been circulated on social networks in Ukraine regarding the death of a 19-year-old, who jumped from the Venetian bridge in Hydropark, Kyiv. According to reports, Truha Kyiv (Труха⚡️Київ), the young man did not resurface after the jump, and his body was found on the shore only three days later, about 500 meters from the point of impact. Other sources, including Times of Ukraine and Ukraine Online (Україна Online), confirmed the details of the tragic incident.
In a more detailed report by Kyiv Times (Київ | Times), it was noted that the young man's parents filed a missing person's report, and his body was located by rescuers while opening rescue stations on the beach. However, the channel raised a significant caveat, citing police information that no official reports of such an incident had been received in recent dates, and that there is a possibility that the footage circulated online is old and refers to events from June 2025.
Simultaneously, another drowning incident was reported in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to Truha Dnipro (Труха⚡️Дніпро) and Dnipro Operative (Дніпро Оперативний), rescue forces located the body of a 23-year-old man in a pool in the city of Zhovti Vody. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the case, with reports emphasizing the dangers inherent in swimming in unregulated locations.
