During a protest held against the 'March of Equality' (Pride parade) in Ukraine, public activist Dmytro Korchynsky was recorded expressing views contrary to the country's main political line. As reported by hromadske, a Ukrainian-liberal oriented media outlet, Korchynsky was present at the scene and openly stated that he "does not support Ukraine's entry into the European Union."

According to Korchynsky, as quoted in reports by Всевидящее ОКО: Україна and Батальйон «Монако» | Україна | Новини, he advocates for Ukraine to remain a "white Christian country." These Telegram channels, which sometimes tend to echo populist and conservative narratives, disseminated his words while calling on the public to vote on whether they agree with his position.

This statement also resonated on the channel Женьок Вещає…, where they chose to place his words in a charged historical context, comparing Korchynsky's position to that of ousted president Viktor Yanukovych, who also previously opposed Ukraine's integration into the European bloc.
