Over the past day, Ukrainian media outlets, including ТСН новини / ТСН.ua, have reported widespread disruptions in rail traffic connecting Poland and Ukraine. According to a statement by Ukraine's national railway company, 'Ukrzaliznytsia', the malfunctions were caused by "перебої в енергетичній інфраструктурі на польській залізниці" (disruptions in the energy infrastructure of the Polish railway).
As a result of the malfunction, trains arriving from Warsaw towards Chełm and Przemyśl are experiencing delays ranging from two and a half to three hours. The Telegram channel 'Україна Online' notes that the management of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is working in cooperation with the Polish company PKP Intercity to ensure the continued travel of passengers and to arrange connections for domestic Ukrainian trains that may be affected by the delay.
Various sources, including the channel 'Реальна Війна' and the channel 'Батальйон «Монако»', emphasize that this is a large-scale infrastructure problem affecting major international routes.
