Wave of drone attacks on the Russian capital

During June 19, 2026, a large-scale drone attack was reported targeting Moscow and the Moscow region. According to Всевидящее ОКО: Україна, which supports the Ukrainian position, aircraft were documented on their way to the city. Exilenova+ noted that high-speed targets were identified over the capital.

ТСН новини / ТСН.ua, a media outlet with a distinct Ukrainian orientation that sharply criticizes the Russian leadership, reported that following the attack, airports in the region suspended their operations and several refineries were forced to stop their work earlier than expected.

Additional reports from Ukrainian sources highlight the intensity of the attack. The АрміяINFORM channel claimed that about 300 drones are over the "muddy capital city." ОПЕРАТИВНИЙ ІНФОРМ and Безпечний Район also confirmed the presence of the vehicles in Russian airspace.

The АТАСМS - УКРАЇНА channel noted that this is the third consecutive day that Moscow has been attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles, indicating an ongoing escalation in air activity within the Russian rear.
