Warming relations: Business people report productive dialogue with Kyrylo Budanov

According to reports from Forbes Ukraine cited by the Telegram channels Україна Online, Новини.LIVE, and UA Stream, representatives of the business sector in Ukraine are expressing satisfaction with the conduct of the dialogue with the administration. During the second meeting of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support, chaired by Kyrylo Budanov, participants noted that this represents a change for the better in the nature of communication between the government and the private sector.

Dmitry Oleynik, head of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, noted that "we decided to meet once every two months, and this is the schedule that has been kept", which he says indicates a new systemic approach. The channels emphasize that this is a positive trend after a period of uncertainty between the administration and the business community.

Beyond the communication level, results on the ground were also reported. Vasyl Danyliak, CEO of the OKKO Group, noted that there are already tangible changes in the energy sector, stemming from previous meetings held in April. According to him, starting June 1, the government expanded credit programs for distributed energy generation projects in the amount of up to 25 million euros for a period of five years, at an annual interest rate of 10% in the local currency.

Additionally, it was reported that the procedure for connecting to the power grid has been reformed, so that business owners can now manage tenders and the search for contractors themselves, instead of being subject exclusively to the "Ukrenergo" company. The reporting sources tend to support the current administration's line and highlight the professional and constructive aspect of the talks, as part of the administration's attempt to stabilize the Ukrainian economy in the shadow of the war.
