Tonight (June 18, 2026), an intensive aerial attack wave using "Shahed"-type drones was reported against the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. According to the Telegram channel Київський купол | Графіки, which provides real-time reports on air raid alerts, groups of unmanned aerial vehicles were identified over the Bortnychi area, Kharkivskyi massif, and areas adjacent to Vydubychi.

Reports from the field highlight the intensity of the attack. The channel ОПЕРАТИВНИЙ ІНФОРМ, an operational reporting channel associated with ongoing military coverage, noted that "a group of 11 Shaheds" was identified on its way to the area. Later, the channel updated regarding the entry of "8 aircraft from Boryspil towards Rumbaza and the Kharkivskyi neighborhood" according to their reports.

The drones, identified as Iranian-made weapons operated by Russia, penetrated Kyiv's airspace in several waves. Monitoring sources at Київський купол reported in detail on the movement of the vehicles over a series of southern neighborhoods, serving as a central civilian alert channel for the city's residents. The public was instructed to remain in shelters while aerial systems tracked the progress of the vehicles along various vectors, including Vita-Lytovska.
