Aerial tension in Poltava region: attempts to intercept a Russian UAV

During the morning of June 17, 2026, the intrusion of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) into the airspace of the Poltava region in Ukraine was reported. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated that a hostile reconnaissance UAV was identified north of the settlement of Velyki Sorochyntsi, moving in the direction of the city of Myrhorod.
