Overnight on June 15, 2026, the capital of Ukraine experienced a massive air attack. According to reports from the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the city was attacked simultaneously by large swarms of UAVs (drones) and missiles launched from several different directions – north, south, and east.

The channel "Kyiv Skies" (Київське небо) updated that cruise missiles were spotted on their way to the capital shortly before the impacts. At the same time, the channel "Kyiv Golovne" (Київ Головне) reported massive missile movement toward the Obukhiv, Boryspil, and Vasylkiv areas, noting that "the missiles are spreading across the Kyiv region."

According to estimates published on the channel "The All-Seeing EYE" (Всевидящее ОКО), which is associated with a distinct pro-Ukrainian stance, at the peak of the attack, there were about 28 "Shahed" type UAVs and 11 missiles that had entered the airspace. "Kyiv Operatyvnyi" (Київ Оперативний) confirmed that explosions and missiles were detected over the city itself.

After hours of security tension, "The All-Seeing EYE" reported that no more missiles were detected in the country's skies and reconnaissance operations (additional patrol) had begun. The attack, which was also covered by "TSN News" (ТСН новини), highlights Russia's continued attempts to strike Ukrainian infrastructure and population centers using combined attack methods.
