Over the past day, a serious incident was reported at the Kyiv Cave Monastery complex (Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra). According to accumulating reports from Ukrainian Telegram channels, including Київ ІНФО | Новини Україна 🇺🇦 and Times of Ukraine: Новини | Україна, an impact was recorded on the monastery grounds, leading to the outbreak of a large fire in religious buildings at the site.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko officially confirmed that there is a conflagration on the monastery grounds, specifically noting that it is a fire on the roof of the Dormition Cathedral (Uspensky Sobor). The official channel of the KMDA – official channel confirmed the event, without detailing the exact cause of the ignition at this stage.
