This morning (June 2, 2026), military Telegram channels reported a large wave of Russian cruise missile launches that crossed Ukrainian airspace. According to reports, the missiles made their way along western and northwestern routes, passing through the Cherkasy, Poltava, and Sumy regions on their way to strategic hubs.
The war_monitor channel, identified with real-time military reporting, reported on the movement of four missile groups that passed through the Obukhiv area toward southern Kyiv, and subsequently noted additional groups that passed through the Vasylkiv and Hlevakha areas. The Київ ІНФО | Новини Україна channel confirmed that "the last group of cruise missiles" was identified on its way to the city of Vasylkiv in the Kyiv region.
Simultaneously, the ЗСУ ДВІЖ channel – a pro-Ukrainian channel that sharply criticizes the regime in Russia and Putin – documented the movement of three missile groups from the Okhtyrka area toward Hadiach. The reports highlighted the flight path that crossed the Sumy region toward the Poltava region.
