According to reports from Times of Ukraine: Новини | Україна, a channel that emphasizes a pro-Ukrainian stance and criticizes Russian aggression, about 30 missiles were launched from different directions toward the country within just a few minutes.
Kyiv residents reported widespread power outages following hits to energy infrastructure. Eyewitnesses and residents reported on Times of Ukraine about "4 consecutive hits in the Podil area" of the capital. The channel warned in advance of significant danger from "X-22" cruise missiles, which they state "are capable of destroying entire residential quarters and are very difficult to intercept."
Simultaneously with the reports of the hits, additional channels such as Київ | Times and Україна⚡️Новини⚡️Війна documented the activity of air defense systems. According to the Львівич | Новини channel, moments of the interception of "ballistic missiles with cluster warheads" were documented over the city skies.
Before the attack, Times of Ukraine warned that Russian bombers were operating from two different directions with the goal of diverting air defense systems, and called on residents to seek immediate shelter in light of the expectation of heavy barrages.
