During the night of June 1, 2026, a significant air attack on the capital city of Kyiv was reported using advanced UAVs. According to reports from Київ ІНФО | Новини Україна, three 'Shahed' type jet-propelled drones were identified moving toward the Irpin area and the Right Bank of the city.

The Труха⚡️Київ channel provided real-time updates on the movement of the vehicles, noting that some of the drones were directed toward areas such as Vynohradar and the Minskyi District. Additional networks, including ОПЕРАТИВНИЙ ІНФОРМ, reported that the vehicles arrived from the north and moved along a vector combining Dymers and Irpin.

The reports highlighted the use of "jet Shahed" technology, which represents an escalation in the aerial threat to the capital. BBC NEWS Україна confirmed the occurrence of the attack and covered the events, as local security authorities called on residents to remain in shelters due to the imminent danger of impact following trajectory changes of the vehicles over residential neighborhoods such as Podil and Pechersk.
