According to a report by Channel 24 (24 Канал | Новини України), known for its distinct pro-Ukrainian editorial line, the soldiers noticed a pheasant that had become entangled in a net intended for protection against enemy drones. According to the channel, the bird was "exhausted and doomed to die" before the soldiers managed to "carefully free it from the trap."
