Successful attack at the port of Berdyansk
During the night of June 1, 2026, Ukrainian forces carried out an attack against a Russian cargo ship in the port of the occupied city of Berdyansk. According to STERNENKO and other sources, including 422 LUFTWAFFE, the ship was hit twice by strike drones from the 422nd Unmanned Systems Battalion, with reports stating the ship was carrying a cargo of ammunition while unloading at Berth No. 3.
Militarnyi noted that the operation was carried out under the operational codename "Luftwaffe," using two strike drones. Official Ukrainian sources, including the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Оперативний ЗСУ), referred to the incident as part of an extensive effort to "sever the enemy's logistics."

Simultaneously with the ship attack, the Land Forces of Ukraine published updated data on the losses of the Russian army. According to the report, over the last 24 hours, approximately 1,410 Russian soldiers were eliminated and 384 units of automotive equipment were destroyed. From the beginning of the war until June 1, 2026, the Ukrainian military estimates that enemy personnel losses stand at approximately 1,365,470 people.
In the various combat sectors, 276 military clashes were reported during the last 24 hours. The 14th Corps of the Ukrainian Army noted that the front remains tense, with Russian attack attempts accompanied by the intensive use of drones and guided aerial bombs (KAB). The UA Stream report emphasized that the heaviest fighting was concentrated in the Pokrovsk and Huliapole sectors.
