According to data published by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Friday morning, May 22, 2026, Ukrainian defense forces managed to eliminate 880 Russian soldiers over the last 24 hours. In a report by 24 Канал | Новини України, additional data on military equipment losses were detailed: over the last 24 hours, one tank, one air defense system, 57 artillery systems, and dozens of additional units of equipment were destroyed. The media outlet UA Stream elaborated and noted that in addition to the casualties, over 2,000 units of military equipment and weaponry were destroyed, including 1,872 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and 135 vehicles and special equipment units.

According to the cumulative data presented on UA Stream, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, losses among Russian forces are estimated at approximately 1,353,860 people. It was further noted that since the start of the war, about 11,944 tanks and 42,511 artillery systems have been destroyed.
