Throughout May 21, 2026, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported an extensive and complex wave of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that penetrated Ukrainian airspace. According to reports, the vehicles moved along multiple paths and in various formations toward diverse targets, including major cities such as Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed simultaneously that in addition to the drones, guided aerial bombs (KAAB) were launched toward the Dnipropetrovsk region, indicating an escalation in attack methods.
