The Polish Space Agency (POLSA) has issued an official alert regarding the potential danger of Russian missile debris falling on Polish territory. According to the information, this concerns a "Fregat" type module weighing about a ton, which is expected to enter the atmosphere between May 16 and May 17, 2026.

On the UA Stream channel, which is identified with a pro-Ukrainian stance, it is reported that "calculations are changing hourly", but the threat remains. The Polish agency emphasized that there is a concern that some components will not burn up upon entering the atmosphere and will reach the ground.

Reports in the Ukrainian media emphasize the security and safety risk stemming from Russian space activity. The Times of Ukraine channel noted that "there is a probability that some of the debris will not burn up and will fall to the ground". This channel takes a sharply critical line against Russia and Putin.

Similarly, the Реальна Війна channel clarified that "this is a danger to people" due to the uncertainty regarding the debris crash trajectory. All the reporting channels, which present a consistent line supporting Ukraine and criticizing Russia's military and technological activity, view this event as another aspect of the Russian threat.
