Alerts regarding UAVs in the Kyiv area
During May 15, 2026, movement of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was reported in the Kyiv region, with an emphasis on the Hostomel, Irpin, and Bucha areas. The reports came from several sources monitoring aerial activity in Ukraine.
According to Aeris Rimor, a channel focused on open-source aerial intelligence, an early warning was given to residents of Liubianka and Hostomel to take the presence of the aircraft seriously. At the same time, the channel 🔊⚠️єРадар, which specializes in missile and air raid alerts, confirmed the detection of the aircraft and noted that it was a "1 UAV" moving toward Hostomel, Bucha, and Irpin.
The Telegram channel Київський купол | Графіки, which deals with air defense data, distributed ongoing updates on the location of the vehicles, emphasizing that the threat in Hostomel and Irpin remained current throughout the morning. The Левый Берег Киев channel also published calls for residents of Hostomel and Irpin to be wary of the vehicles spotted in the airspace.
These sources, which are identified with the stream of local Ukrainian reports during wartime, emphasize the importance of early warning for the civilian public in areas that were previously centers of intense fighting.
