The international restaurant chain McDonald's may return to operation in the city of Kharkiv, according to cumulative reports in the Ukrainian media. According to an announcement by the Regional Military Administration (OVA), intensive negotiations are underway on the subject, after branches in the city were closed with the outbreak of the full-scale Russian invasion.
The channel Труха⚡️Україна, which takes a distinctly pro-Ukrainian line, reports that "talks are being held" to resume operations. The statements are reinforced by the channel Лачен пише, which notes that the American businessman and philanthropist Howard Graham Buffett is involved in the talks.
