A wave of criminal incidents and traffic accidents in the capital and Ukraine

In the last 24 hours, a series of security and criminal incidents were recorded. The central event took place near the Hryshko Botanical Garden in Kyiv, where a Maserati driver caused a pile-up. According to a report by "Труха⚡️Київ", the driver was under the influence of alcohol and hit a parked car containing a person, who required transport to the hospital. The channel "Детектор медіа" added that among the eyewitnesses was Svitlana Orlovska, a producer at "Pryamiy Kanal" (The Direct Channel), who described the aggressive behavior of the offending driver during his arrest.

Simultaneously, "Труха⚡️Львів" reports a tragedy in the Brody area, where a drunk driver who failed to comply with police orders to stop, struck an elderly cyclist who died on the spot, and then attempted to flee.

In the criminal sector, police arrested a 56-year-old foreigner who operated using a "hitchhiker" method to steal money from drivers. According to reports from "Київ Оперативний" and "Київ | Times", the suspect approached delivery drivers and used small talk to distract them, stealing approximately 180,000 hryvnia in the Desnianskyi and Solomianskyi districts of Kyiv.

In addition, further isolated incidents were reported: on Revutskoho Street, the mirrors of many vehicles were vandalized by unknown persons, likely under the influence of alcohol (according to "Труха⚡️Київ"), and in Odesa, it was reported that businessman Valery Tverdovsky was attacked with tear gas during a dispute (source: "Ху Київ +"). Finally, an electrical explosion was reported at the "Zvirynetska" metro station in Kyiv, which caused a power outage (report: "Київ | Times").
