During the morning hours of May 5, 2026, suspicious aerial activity was reported in Ukraine. According to the monitor channel, which reports on military events, one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was identified in the border area between the Kyiv region and the Chernihiv region. The report stated that the vehicle was in "free movement" and that an alert regarding the end of the event would be declared as soon as the vehicle disappears from the screens.
A similar report was published on the ЗСУ ДВІЖ △💪🇺🇦 channel, which is identified with a pro-Ukrainian stance and reports on military developments from the field. According to ЗСУ ДВІЖ, a single unmanned aerial vehicle is moving along the border line between the regions, with its direction of movement defined as "undefined".
As of this time, the authorities have not issued additional instructions to residents, other than continuous monitoring of the vehicle's movement. Military officials continue to monitor the airspace in the area to determine the destination and nature of the threat.
