Ukraine on the way to toughening penalties for falsifying vaccination certificates

The Ukrainian parliament is currently working to amend legislation regarding the falsification of medical documents. According to a statement by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Nation's Health, Mykhailo Radutskyi, the state plans to significantly tighten the criminal liability currently imposed on "anti-vaxxers" and anyone involved in falsifying these certificates.

According to a report by the Україна Online: Новини | Політика channel, the move will focus on toughening clauses related to the forgery of medical certificates as well as addressing violations of sanitary norms more strictly. The channel emphasized that according to Radutskyi, although criminal liability for forging documents already exists in Ukraine today, the proposed changes are intended to create increased deterrence.
