Air raid alerts in the Kyiv region: reports of UAVs maneuvering
Throughout the day (May 2, 2026), intense aerial activity was reported in the Kyiv region and its surroundings. The Telegram channel Київський купол | Графіки, which focuses on air defense reports and threat monitoring, issued an urgent warning to the residents of the cities of Vyshhorod, Pereiaslav, Yahotyn, Boryspil, and others, claiming that hostile aircraft were moving towards them or passing nearby according to their report.
The Київ Головне channel, which reports in real-time on security developments in the Ukrainian capital, noted that the situation on the ground is complex. According to the channel, the aircraft are "performing maneuvers and constantly changing their route" between the Brovary and Boryspil areas in a post published.
Throughout the afternoon, continuous updates were received on the locations of the aircraft. While in some areas Київ Головне reported that the aircraft disappeared from radar after passing over Novi Petrivtsi, additional warnings were simultaneously issued for the Petropavlivka and Chayky areas as indicated on the channel.
Monitoring sources summarized the situation as operational uncertainty of the aircraft, noting that they "cannot decide where to fly" and were observed moving between several different locations, including the city of Kyiv itself, likely with the goal of confusing air defense systems according to the Telegram channel.
