During the night of July 2, 2026, the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, experienced a heavy wave of airstrikes. According to the Труха⚡️Київ channel, city residents heard loud explosions following the passage of missiles over the city during an attack.

The Киевский Движ channel, associated with local field reporting, reports that one of the rockets left a crater in the courtyard of the "French Quarter" residential complex. In addition, there was a report of a strike on a metro station that caused parts of the ceiling to collapse. The channel provided real-time updates on missile movement from the directions of Chernihiv, Nizhyn, and Pryluky towards the capital, while noting specific hits in the Pozniaky and Kharkivskyi districts.

Simultaneously with the attack on the capital, sources in Ukraine report the continued firing of "Kalibr" cruise missiles from the Black Sea. Channels such as Україна⚡️Новини⚡️Війна, Труха⚡️Дніпро, Реальный Днепр, and Труха⚡️Одесса reported one after another on repeated launches of cruise missiles, with some cases citing an estimated number of about 8 missiles in one round.
