Rise in aggressive marketing activity of investment channels on Telegram
During June 22, 2026, active activity was detected by Telegram channels dealing with the Turkish capital market, using aggressive marketing techniques to direct users to private investment groups. The channels, which focus on advertising 'investment opportunities', appeal to the general public with promises of quick profits and limited access.
Borsa Hisse Haber, a channel that presents itself as a source of information for the stock exchange, published a message claiming to offer "Haftalık tavan adayı hisseleri" (candidates for stocks expected to skyrocket this week). The channel emphasizes that access is free but limited in the number of participants, and calls on followers to join a dedicated WhatsApp group.
At the same time, Borsa Haber 🔔 took a marketing approach based on creating a sense of urgency (FOMO). In a message published on June 22, it was stated that "GİREN GİRSİN SİLİYORUM SON 120 KİŞİ" – an urgent call encouraging immediate joining of the group for fear of missing out. It seems that these channels are adopting a distinct systematic marketing line, the main goal of which is to increase the user base under the guise of financial information.
𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐀 𝐆𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐈 also joined this trend, when it published a message promising the disclosure of "5 stock opportunities" to anyone who joins an external link on Telegram. Data indicates that these messages received wide exposure, with over 12,900 cumulative views in the various channels, which testifies to the scale of the distribution of these campaigns among retail investors in Turkey.
