A shocking case of medical negligence has been revealed in Antalya, Turkey, after Selviyan Özdemir, 33, underwent surgery on her healthy knee instead of the one injured during sports activities. The affair, which has been ongoing for two years, reached its peak this week with the publication of medical reports confirming the patient's claims.

According to a report on the gdh channel, Özdemir suffered an injury to her right knee, but at the private hospital where she was treated, the surgery was performed on the wrong leg.
