[84761] Reduction in fighting in Lebanon against the backdrop of advanced contacts between the US and Iran
Emergent calm in Lebanon: The effects of the US-Iranian negotiations
According to reports from the last few hours, the United Nations (UN) has identified a decrease in the level of violence and clashes within Lebanon. The trend is attributed to significant progress in talks between the United States and Iran, which have reportedly reached the "final stage."
The channel Sondakika Haber Gündem, which reports on global events, noted that the UN provided official information about a "düşüş gözlendiği" (a decrease observed) in friction points in Lebanon following the parties' announcement of the final stages of negotiations.
At the same time, the Gündem Haber channel confirmed the report and noted that following the motivation achieved between the US and Iran, a relative calm has occurred in the fighting. As of now, both sources emphasize the direct link between the diplomatic moves and the security situation on the ground, while remaining consistent in the information conveyed by international sources.
