The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian army carried out a series of widespread attacks against Ukraine, in response to what it termed "Ukrainian terrorist attacks against civilian targets in Russia." According to Sputnik Türkiye, which is aligned with the Kremlin's position, production and launch facilities for UAVs, fuel depots, as well as energy and transport infrastructure were attacked throughout Ukraine. The report claimed that over the past day, approximately 1,385 Ukrainian soldiers were neutralized and 11 armored vehicles were destroyed.
At the same time, Sputnik Türkiye reported on an additional Ukrainian attack against the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (Zaporojye NGS). According to the source, Ukrainian forces attacked the station's transport unit, leading to the destruction of six buses and two "Gazel" type vehicles. Despite the damage, it was reported that there were no casualties among the staff and the station continues to operate as normal.
In the tactical sector, Russian forces have begun to implement new camouflage measures on the battlefield. As reported in Son Dakika Haberleri Türkiye, the Russian military has begun to paint its vehicles in a "zebra pattern" (zebra deseni) to make it harder for Ukrainian forces to identify targets using suicide drones and loitering munitions.
The reports come in the shadow of data from the Russian air defense system, which claimed to have successfully intercepted 4 guided aerial bombs and 405 fixed-wing UAVs during the recent period, according to Sputnik Türkiye data.
