Documentation from Lebanon: Hezbollah publishes footage of a drone striking an IDF soldier
In the last 24 hours, footage has circulated on social media purportedly showing an attack by the Hezbollah organization using a suicide drone against an IDF force. The reports originate from two Telegram channels with a distinct pro-Palestinian and Islamist orientation.
Daily Islamist, a channel whose editorial line emphasizes distinct anti-Israeli content, reported on May 9 that "Hezbollah attacked an Israeli tank using a drone," noting that in the video, one can see an "Israeli soldier attempting to escape" after identifying the aerial vehicle.
Simultaneously, the DoğruHaber channel, which presents a religious-conservative stance supporting the Axis of Resistance, claimed that a "Hezbollah suicide drone hit an Israeli soldier who was trying to flee the scene."
As of this hour, Israeli security officials have not issued an official response to the incident or the footage circulated by the organization's propaganda channels. The use of suicide drones has become one of the central means employed by Hezbollah in recent years in the campaign against IDF forces on the northern border.
