According to the news agency İLKHA, which is identified with an Islamic-conservative line, clashes between government forces and armed opposition elements have been intensifying in recent days.

Conversely, the foreign minister of the military junta ruling Mali dismissed the threats in the capital. According to the Daily Islamist Telegram channel, which presents a position biased toward Islamic elements in the region, the minister stated that "a few lunatics attempting to take over the capital city do not frighten us."

In his statement, the minister emphasized that Mali is not like Syria or Afghanistan and added that "our army has the military capability to deter many." These remarks reflect the junta's attempt to project stability and control in the face of mounting military pressure on the ground, as reported by various sources covering the renewed flare-up of the conflict in the country.
