On the night between June 20 and 21, a 25-year-old man, who was under the heavy influence of alcohol, broke into the dormitory of the "Orlyonok" children's camp located on the banks of Lake Chagatai in the Republic of Tuva. According to reports, the attacker began destroying furniture, smashing windows, and beating the children who were sleeping at the site. According to the SHOT Telegram channel, known for real-time coverage of criminal events, the teenagers were attacked while they were inside their living quarters.
Reports regarding the number of victims vary: while the state news agency TASS initially reported that two teenagers were harmed, other sources such as NEXTA Live and Царьград ТВ point to approximately 13 children who were harmed in the incident.
