The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science of Russia (Rosobrnadzor) reported that the 2026 state exams did not include any "unsolvable tasks" as some students had claimed. According to official data, there was an increase in the number of students who received a score of 80 or higher in all subjects, and growth was also recorded in the number of students who achieved a perfect score (100). This official position was supported by reports in TASS and 360.ru, which are identified with the pro-government line.

Alongside the academic successes, it was reported in Meduzalive and TOPOR that in the English state exam, students were surprised to find new tasks on the topics of Russian national holidays, such as "Victory Day," "Russia Day," "Defender of the Fatherland Day," and "National Unity Day." While government sources presented positive statistical data, independent channels highlighted the surprise among students and teachers, who were not prepared in advance for these topics.

On the local front, NewsVL.ru notes that in the city of Vladivostok, an impressive achievement was recorded with 17 students receiving a score of 100 on the Russian language exam, compared to only 7 last year. However, public discourse is not free of criticism: the Donrf channel harshly criticized the way the exams are managed, arguing that the current system is outdated, humiliating for students, and creates bureaucratic dependence instead of allowing universities to manage the admissions process.

On the legal level, a Moscow court banned the activity of Telegram channels that published "leaks" and answers to exams before the scheduled date, claiming that this harms the integrity of the exams and the Education Law, according to Razzzvorot.
