Widespread wave of drone attacks across Russia and territories under its control
During June 14, 2026, a series of widespread warnings were reported regarding drone (UAV) attacks across vast territories in Russia and areas under its control. The Telegram channel Lpr 1 reported in a live and continuous broadcast on dangers stretching from the border districts of Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod to the depths of Russia, including the Moscow, Tula, Kaluga, Yaroslavl, and Tver regions.
According to cumulative reports from Lpr 1, warnings were also activated in the southern regions and territories under Russian control, including the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), the Zaporizhzhia region, Kherson, and the Crimean Peninsula. The reports included specific references to types of vehicles, with the presence of "jet drones" and even "loitering munitions" noted in several instances. Ukraina.ru (which is identified with pro-Kremlin positions and is critical of Ukraine) added that in cities like Horlivka there is an "increased danger of a drone attack by the Ukrainian army."
The activity was also felt in resort areas and economic centers in the south of the country. The Lpr 1 channel reported a recurring danger in the Sochi and Adler area, while in the Rostov-on-Don area, it was reported that there were multiple warnings that required residents to take strict safety precautions.
Alongside the reported military activity, local authorities also reported severe weather conditions. PODSLUSHANO BRYANSK warned residents of the Bryansk region of heavy rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms, which increase the risk of power outages and damage to infrastructure, adding complexity to the security situation in the area.
It is worth noting that the channel Alexey Zheleznov: IDF/Israel/Middle East⚔️, which usually covers the Middle East, noted some of the reports laconically under the headline "Drone warnings," but at the same time classified some of the reports as "false alarms." The reporting Russian channels focused almost exclusively on calling on residents to obey safety instructions and seek shelter.
