Overnight (May 30, 2026), a large-scale wave of drone attacks was reported across Russia. According to data from the Russian Ministry of Defense cited by Colonelcassad, 127 aircraft were shot down or intercepted over various regions, including Rostov, Krasnodar, Voronezh, and Crimea.

Main centers of damage

The most significant focus was at the Taganrog port. Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar (an anti-war oriented channel) confirmed that a fire broke out at the site in a tanker, a fuel reservoir, and an administrative building. Kremlin-affiliated sources such as RIA Novosti emphasized that the fire had been extinguished and that there was no fuel oil leak, while the Varlamov News channel added that the commander of Ukraine's drone forces is claiming a hit on two "Tupolev-142" aircraft and an "Iskander" system at a nearby airfield, a claim that has not received Russian confirmation.

At the same time, an oil base of the "Southern Oil Company" in the city of Armavir in the Krasnodar region was attacked. Ateo Breaking channel reported a fire that broke out at the facility, which, according to the Armavir city administration as cited in RBC, was contained and handled without any reported casualties.

Civilian casualties

Reports indicate civilian injuries during the attacks. Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar noted that two people were injured in Taganrog due to a drone strike on a private house. In the Belgorod region, a more severe incident was reported in which three people were killed as a result of an FPV drone attack on vehicles, an event also confirmed by other sources reporting on the front-line war.
