This morning (June 18, 2026), media outlets in Lebanon and Israel reported a targeted strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) against a vehicle in the village of Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon, located in the Nabatieh district at the foot of the Ali al-Tahar ridge.

According to initial reports from the Abu Ali Express channel - which is associated with a critical stance toward Hamas and Iran - an Israeli aircraft struck the vehicle in the morning hours. The channel later updated that according to Lebanese sources, casualties were recorded in the strike: one killed and another wounded.

The reports were verified by additional sources, including 301 News Arab World and Israel Hayom, which noted that the IDF struck the vehicle in the village. At the same time, the 8200 News Channel emphasized that it was an Air Force UAV, a detail that was also repeated in reports by Security Flashes 24/7.

So far, no official response has been released by the IDF Spokesperson regarding the identity of the casualties or the objective of the strike, but the event comes against the backdrop of ongoing security tensions on the northern border.
