According to reports from Dafna Liel, Political Arena, and Politics Updates, Netanyahu justified the request by the need to conduct an urgent call at 11:00 AM, and even hinted that "there will be more developments that we will talk about later". The judges approved the request, as reported by News Arena.
This event comes against the backdrop of a stormy day of testimony that took place yesterday, June 16. Eli Tsipori, a journalist identified with the line defending Netanyahu and attacking the law enforcement system, reported that the Prime Minister leveled harsh criticism at state witness Nir Hefetz (mistakenly referred to as "Tadmor" in the original text): "You activated all your terror.
