Senior Hezbollah official identified as responsible for the murder of American soldiers eliminated

Lebanese and Iranian sources identified with the Revolutionary Guards confirm the death of Ali Musa Daqduq, a senior official in the Hezbollah organization and the person responsible for the 'Golan file' in the organization. According to Abu Ali Express, Daqduq was killed during combat operations in southern Lebanon in recent days.

Daqduq was considered a senior and notorious figure, especially in the eyes of the American administration, due to his direct involvement in terrorism against U.S. forces. According to Abu Ali Express and Hadashot 360, Daqduq was the man behind the deadly attack in January 2007 on an American base in the city of Karbala, Iraq. In this attack, carried out by the 'Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq' militia under his direction, four American soldiers were kidnapped and murdered, and another officer was killed during the raid.

The soldiers who were murdered are: 1st Lieutenant Jacob N. Fritz, Private 1st Class Shawn P. Falter, Private Johnathon M. Millican, Specialist Jonathan D. Chism, and Captain Brian S. Freeman. Although Daqduq was captured in the past by the Americans, he was transferred to Iraqi authorities and released in 2012 following a legal acquittal.

Now, with his death in Lebanon, sources identified with the media in Israel note that the families of the American soldiers see this as "late justice." While Lebanese sources report that his death occurred during battles against IDF forces and not in a targeted operation, the Iranian sources quoted in Abu Ali Express define him as a "Shahid" (martyr) who fell in combat operations.
