Wave of violence and shooting incidents across the country
Over the last 24 hours, several exceptional violent incidents occurred across the country and in the Judea and Samaria region. On the morning of June 13, an incident was reported at a farm near the village of Duma in Binyamin, where a "mentally unstable" Palestinian was shot after attempting to attack a local resident with a stone, according to Political-Security Cabinet - Moriah Asraf & Doron Kadosh. The source, which presents a line identified with Israel's security, notes that the citizen who felt threatened fired from his personal weapon to "neutralize a threat."
According to an announcement by Hatzalah Judea and Samaria without borders SSF, police and IDF forces that arrived at the scene opened an investigation into the case, and the suspect was evacuated in moderate condition for medical treatment. Similar details about the incident were also provided by News Line and News Arena.
Simultaneously, reports were received of shooting incidents with a criminal background within the Green Line. In Tamra, Hot News reported a shooting incident in which a man in his 30s was seriously wounded. The police launched searches for suspects.
In another incident in Jaffa, a 22-year-old youth was moderately wounded by gunfire on Marzuq Azar Street at the corner of David Raziel Street. Hot News stated that "the background to the incident is likely criminal and its circumstances are being investigated," and that police forces are at the scene to collect evidence.
