Political and security tension: The government under fire

On a day full of statements, the political system leveled sharp criticism at the management of the war and diplomatic affairs. Member of Knesset Gadi Eisenkot attacked the Prime Minister and claimed that he is "placing his personal-legal interest before the good of the state", while calling on him to step down from his position. At the same time, Minister of Settlement Idit Silman came to Netanyahu's defense and called on him to stop appearing for hearings in his trial as long as the state is in critical security times.

Criticism of the special government meeting

Channel 13 reporter Michael Shemesh reported on a scarcity of participants at the special government meeting that dealt with the situation in the north: "Only three ministers are currently participating in the meeting".
