A dramatic development in contacts between the US and Iran

In the last 24 hours, Arab media outlets, led by Al-Arabiya, have been reporting on a draft framework agreement intended to bring an end to the confrontations between the US and Iran. The draft, which according to Israel Hayom may be officially published in the short term, includes nine key clauses, including an immediate and unconditional ceasefire on all fronts, a mutual commitment to refrain from attacking civilian and military infrastructure, and ensuring freedom of navigation in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

According to reports, the emerging agreement includes a joint mechanism for monitoring and dispute resolution, and the start of negotiations on disputed issues within seven days. In exchange for compliance with the terms, the US will begin a gradual removal of economic sanctions. However, it must be qualified that an official Iranian source clarified on i24NEWS that "there is no final agreement yet" and that efforts are focused on narrowing significant gaps, particularly regarding nuclear issues and oil exports.

In parallel with reports on political contacts, the financial market is reacting with optimism. As published in War Room, the stock exchanges on Wall Street are recording gains against the backdrop of investor hopes for the end of the war in the Middle East.

On the internal Israeli level, War Room reports that Poland has joined a series of Western countries that have banned the entry of Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir into their territory, following the publication of documentation of the humiliation of flotilla activists to the Gaza Strip. The publication comes against the backdrop of harsh allegations raised by the flotilla detainees regarding abuse, allegations which were denied by the Prison Service and are currently being investigated by authorities in Italy.
