According to a report by Amit Segal, the move is being made "with the agreement of the Haredim." Dafna Liel also notes that the Haredi factions will join the opposition to enable the passage of the law, and this is "so that they too will have some control over the process" according to Dafna Liel.

Coalition Chairman, Ofir Katz, updated the heads of the coalition factions that the decision was made to ensure the management of the process, as reported on Moti Kastel's channel. On the other hand, Ben Caspit, known for a critical line toward the government's conduct, notes that the move allows the Haredim to "collaborate with the opposition in the event of the Likud's Knesset dissolution bill being 'stalled'" according to Ben Caspit.
