Netanyahu's testimony in court: Rejects reports about his medical condition

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared today (Wednesday) in court as part of the libel lawsuit he filed against Uri Misgav, Ben Caspit, and Gonen Ben Itzhak, against the backdrop of reports that attributed serious illnesses to him. As reported in Security Flashes 24/7, Netanyahu declared: "My health condition is normal, some would say excellent. I did not suffer from pancreatic cancer - if that were the case, I wouldn't be here anymore."

During his testimony, which was covered extensively by the Netael Bandel & Co. channel, Netanyahu detailed the medical procedures he underwent. He confirmed that at the end of 2025, a cancerous tumor was identified at an early stage ("eight millimeters"), and that he was treated with 5 radiation sessions in January and February 2026, after which the tumor was completely removed. Regarding the pacemaker, Netanyahu noted that it "was never activated" since it was installed. Netanyahu attacked the defendants and claimed: "Whoever said I am terminally ill - will be brought to court."

During his cross-examination, Gonen Ben Itzhak's attorney, Roni Keslas, leveled claims of a lack of transparency in the medical file presented. As noted in Netael Bandel & Co., Attorney Keslas asked why there were specialists for specific cancer diseases during the treatment of Netanyahu's hernia. In response, Netanyahu replied: "I was under anesthesia. I didn't go through every single doctor and check what each one specializes in." Netanyahu further emphasized that "every major thing my doctors reported and hid nothing. An entire industry of lies."
