The tense relationship between the coalition and the opposition reached a boiling point this week, when the 'Yesh Atid' faction officially laid a bill to dissolve the plenum on the Knesset table, which they refer to as "Together." According to a report on News from the Field on Telegram, which is associated with critical positions toward the government, the proposal is expected to be integrated into the Knesset's agenda during the coming week, likely on Wednesday.

The initiative received backing from other parties in the opposition. As reported by Michael Shemesh, who sometimes presents a line balancing between different political positions, the 'Yisrael Beiteinu' faction also joined 'Yesh Atid' in submitting the proposal. Simultaneously, Dafna Liel noted that the 'Democrats' faction also laid similar proposals, which indicates a concentrated effort by the opposition to shorten the term of the current government.

While in most media outlets the reporting remained informative, Moti Kastel chose to label the move as "trolling" on the part of the opposition, a position reflecting a line often associated with support for the current administration. On the other hand, on the channel of Ben Caspit, which presents a sharp critical position toward Netanyahu, it was emphasized that the move comes following a "change in circumstances" in politics that is leading the opposition to try and promote elections immediately.

Despite calls from some opposition figures to convene the plenum as early as tomorrow, it seems that for now, the procedural path is aimed at a vote next Wednesday.
