Rare event: Snow falls at the Hermon site during the month of May

A surprising weather system hit the Hermon area today, as snow began to fall at the upper level of the site, an event not seen since the winter of 2011. According to reports from 301 World News Arab, Hot News, Weather News on Telegram, and Weather Ltd., temperatures in the area dropped to 2 degrees Celsius, accompanied by strong gusts of wind.

The snow, which began to accumulate a few centimeters at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level, was described by officials at the site as a particularly surprising event for this time of year. Miki Inbar, VP of Marketing and spokesperson for the Hermon site, noted that "the current system is surprising in its timing and every bit of precipitation is important for the balance."

This is an extremely rare climatic phenomenon for this time of year. While snow was last recorded at the upper level about 15 years ago, snowfall at the lower level of the site has not occurred since the 1960s.
