The political system is in an uproar over Minister Ben-Gvir's birthday

This past weekend, the 50th birthday celebration of the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, held at Moshav Emunim, made headlines. The event became a focal point for opposing political references across Israel's political map.

According to a report by Moti Kastel, who is identified with a right-wing line and support for the current government, the event included a cordial phone call from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who congratulated the Minister on reaching the age of 50. According to that same report, Minister Ben-Gvir responded to Netanyahu with "warm words."

On the other hand, Naftali Bennett chose to attack Minister Ben-Gvir sharply. In a post published by Yinon Magal, who is identified with distinct right-wing positions and support for Netanyahu and the government, Bennett was quoted as firmly declaring that he would not participate in Ben-Gvir's event: "Never, but never! Will I participate in a birthday party for Minister Ben-Gvir, because I am right-wing and Ben-Gvir is left-wing" (according to Yinon Magal).

These exchanges reflect the deep polarization within the right-wing bloc, as central figures in Israeli politics continue to trade verbal blows over ideological identity and political commitment.
