In the last 24 hours, Minister of Education Yoav Kisch has been at the center of two significant developments. On one hand, Hadashot Mehasadeh on Telegram reported on the results of a "Likudiada" poll, according to which Minister Kisch was ranked only in 20th place, far behind figures such as Nir Barkat (15) and Tally Gotliv (10).

At the same time, Minister Kisch launched a sharp attack against Channel 12, following a report that he claims presented a false depiction regarding student achievements. As reported in YINONEWS, the Minister responded to the headline "78% of Israeli students failed English" and called it an "absolute lie." According to him, this is a biased interpretation of the Tenufa exam data, as the figure reflects only the percentage of students who did not reach the "highest threshold" set by the ministry, and not those who failed.

Kisch, who has maintained a personal boycott of Channel 12 since the Force 100 events, claimed that "they are running a false and mobilized campaign against me" in order to harm him personally. According to the Minister, his decision to bring back national testing was intended to conduct a professional investigation to identify failures following the COVID-19 period and the war, and not out of a desire to generate negative headlines.

In his response, the Minister emphasized that he does not regret the boycott he imposed on the channel, and claimed that by choosing to publish the data in this way, "they crossed another line" and disrespected the students and educational staff. The YINONEWS channel, which is identified with positions supporting the Minister and the coalition, highlighted the Minister's narrative according to which the media uses propaganda instead of facts.
