Escalation in Southern Lebanon: IDF strikes and elimination of terrorists

Over the past day, intense military activity has been recorded in Southern Lebanon. According to reports from the IDF Spokesperson published on various channels, including Nitzan Shapira, Yinon Magal, and News from the Field, forces from the 146th Division and the Air Force eliminated five Hezbollah terrorists who were operating near IDF forces in the area.

In parallel to the offensive activity, Voice of News reported on a focused operation by the Alpinist Unit and the Yahalom Unit on Mount Dov, during which terrorist infrastructure, staging positions, and launch points of the organization were destroyed. ynet news added that the IDF also issued evacuation warnings for villages in Southern Lebanon, a step indicating the continuation of intense fighting.

In the threat sector, the terrorist organization Hezbollah launched several explosive drones toward IDF forces in two separate incidents. According to News 360, citing the military's statement, the drones fell near the forces and no casualties were reported. However, ynet news reported separately on an incident in which a Hezbollah missile downed an IDF UAV in the area.

Conversely, the News in Real Time channel posted sharp criticism regarding the manner in which events were reported, claiming that "Hezbollah is schooling us." The channel claimed that 12 IDF soldiers were wounded by the organization's drones, contrary to the official statements of the IDF Spokesperson cited in the other channels, which did not report casualties in these incidents.
